Lisa Christoffersen is a recognized leader in the field of U.S. immigration law in Seattle.  She speaks nationally and serves on national and local committees for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Having successfully assisted a broad range of northwest businesses, professionals, and families for over 15 years, Lisa has a thorough understanding of U.S. employment–based immigration processes including H-1B, TN, L Blanket, L1A/L1B intracompany transferees, E1/E2 treaty traders and investors, O-1 artists and TV directors/producers, P, EB1(3), Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researcher, NIW, and PERM applications, as well as I-9 compliance work. Her long-standing clients include West Coast employers in the high-tech, biotech, engineering, and tourism industries, post-baccalaureate and post-doctoral students, artists, and entrepreneurs. In addition, she enjoys helping individuals with the fiancée, marriage-based permanent residency, and citizenship processes.

Lisa has a strong interest in foreign cultures and people. She has traveled widely and has lived in Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Belgium, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Before graduating from law school, Lisa served as an aide to a member of the Japanese Parliament with a focus on international environmental and women’s issues. She enjoys hiking with her Portuguese Water Dog, swimming, and traveling with her family.
